As a kid, I tinkered with building many projects out of wood and metal but never quite had the right tools to make anything worthwhile. My dad had power tools but I wasn’t allowed to use them, for good reason :-). Later in life my dad bought me a table saw and I finally realized you could make something accurate in wood!
Soon I had different kinds of saws and found my niche making wood projects from patterns I had found on the internet or had drawn myself. A friend had offered me a lathe for a good price but I wasn’t really sure what could be done with one so I declined at first. Then I started seeing these beautiful handmade pens and decided to take the plunge. I have never turned back. Each of these pens is so unique and no two are alike. I love starting with a block of wood or acrylic and finding a new surprise each time I finish turning the pen. I enjoy Jimmy Buffett, the island feel, and relaxing in the sunshine on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean. That is the inspiration of my web site. Look around and enjoy your visit, if you see something you like, drop me a line.
